Senior Associate Project Manager, AI Safety Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the entire execution process—from defining scope and creating task templates to annotation, model pipeline setup, quality assurance, and deployment hand-off.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, annotators, data scientists, go-to-market leads, and client stakeholders.

• Develop and automate workflows by creating Asana projects and scripting Python/SQL jobs for metrics and quality control checks.

• Monitor and report key performance indicators such as timelines, throughput, quality, margin, and resource utilization—utilizing dashboards in Looker, Power BI, or Streamlit.

• Propel continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, conducting retrospectives, and implementing standard operating procedure updates that can scale for future projects.

• Maintain essential artifacts such as statements of work, RACI charts, risk registers, and knowledge-base articles to ensure team alignment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing technical projects or operations in AI data or software sectors.

• Practical experience with Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies (JIRA, Asana, Linear, or equivalent).

• A proven track record of successfully delivering projects with distributed or remote-first teams.

• Ability to effectively communicate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Exceptional project management skills including scoping, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

• Proficiency in lightweight scripting with Python or similar languages for automation, data manipulation, and report generation.

• Skills in SQL and dashboard creation to query data warehouses and develop KPI visualizations.

• Familiarity with annotation tools (Label Studio, Labelbox) and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).

• A process-oriented mindset with the capability to design standard operating procedures and playbooks, and quickly iterate based on feedback.
