Senior Associate, Investment Operations Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Play a pivotal role in facilitating the execution and ongoing management of the firm's investment data operating model.

• Serve as a subject matter expert and primary executor for data operations workflows.

• Guarantee high-quality, timely, and reliable data across IBOR, ABOR, investment processes, middle-office workflows, compliance, and reporting.

• Collaborate with Front Office, Technology, Risk, Operations, and external vendors to foster the delivery of a scalable and well-governed data ecosystem.

• Implement and oversee daily data operations processes to ensure the precise and timely delivery of investment data.

• Investigate, resolve, and escalate data quality concerns across security master, pricing, corporate actions, reference data, positions, transactions, and exposures.

• Document workflows, data definitions, and operating procedures to maintain consistency and transparency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Information Technology is preferred.

• 3-6+ years of experience in investment operations, data management, IBOR operations, or asset management settings.

• Operational knowledge of IBOR and ABOR concepts, investments, pricing, corporate actions, and a thorough comprehension of Security Master data, transactions, position data, reconciliations, cash, and exposures.

• Experience in fulfilling data requirements for investment teams, middle office, risk, treasury, or reporting functions.

• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Palantir Foundry, Clearwater, Aladdin, Markit EDM, Snowflake, Eagle, NeoXam, SimCorp, or similar).

• Understanding of data pipelines, APIs, data models, and data architecture concepts.

• Practical experience in supporting UAT, data validation, and business requirement documentation.
