
Senior Associate – Integration & Separation Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Quantify synergies and opportunities for value creation during buy-side transactions; evaluate the requirements for carve-outs and the operating costs of independent entities.
• Identify areas of operational integration that need to be addressed through a structured separation work plan during sell-side transactions.
• Provide guidance on the scope and commercial terms of transition services agreement frameworks.
• Support clients throughout post-deal execution, including synergy capture, integration planning, performance monitoring, and operational transformation.
• Assist in report writing and presentation development, creating organized, client-ready deliverables under the direction of VPs and Directors.
• Interact with clients under supervision, sharing key insights and fostering strong, trust-based relationships.
• Take charge of workstreams and assist in managing daily delivery across multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Effectively communicate insights through engaging data visualizations and presentations.
• Aid in project planning, internal workflow management, and daily client interactions.
• Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with the capability to pivot and adapt as necessary.
• 2–3 years of experience in transaction advisory, due diligence, or value creation, preferably with a Big 4 or equivalent firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with skills in modeling, analytics, and visual storytelling.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to structure complex problems, synthesize large data sets, and pinpoint key value drivers.
• Strong critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail and commercial intuition.
• Successful candidates must be willing to travel within Canada and the USA.
