This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Deliver direct HR support and guidance to employees.
β’ Address employee HR concerns and manage HR-related transactions from onboarding new hires through performance reviews, benefits, and separations.
β’ Communicate information regarding HR policies, payroll, and related subjects to customers.
β’ Analyze trends and provide insights to management aimed at enhancing HR services.
β’ Manage complex cases and offer resolutions.
β’ Mentor, train, and coach junior team members.
β’ Promote knowledge management and keep an updated HR knowledge base.
β’ Serve as the main point of contact for new hires during the pre-boarding and onboarding process.
β’ Oversee comprehensive onboarding for both executive and non-executive hires across the U.S. and Canada.
β’ Organize and conduct pre-onboarding, onboarding, and Day 1 sessions.
β’ Ensure that onboarding documentation is accurately completed and maintained.
β’ Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, Payroll, Benefits, and Global Onboarding teams.
β’ Assist managers with onboarding arrangements, asset requests, and Workday transactions.
β’ Resolve discrepancies in pre-employment screening with external vendors.
β’ Maintain documentation specific to the country, contracts, labor-law requirements, and compliance processes.
β’ Process onboarding exceptions such as rescinds, no-shows, and changes to start dates.
β’ Coordinate precise employee setup and data integrity with Payroll and Benefits.
β’ Keep onboarding records, documentation repositories, and Workday activities up to date.
β’ Track onboarding metrics and contribute to process enhancements.
β’ Provide guidance regarding onboarding policies, procedures, and best practices.
β’ Manage U.S. employment eligibility and immigration compliance, including I-9, E-Verify, Department of Defense employment verifications, and immigration petition support.
β’ Lead compliance and regulatory reporting for onboarding, including Workday onboarding controls and Canadian government workforce surveys.
β’ 3β5 years of relevant experience or an appropriate combination of education and experience.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing an HRIS system, preferably Workday or similar software.
β’ Significant experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and onboarding operations.
β’ Familiarity with U.S. labor laws, compliance requirements, and contractual obligations.
β’ Knowledge of Canadian labor laws and compliance is highly desirable.
β’ Proficient in HR systems, especially Workday and ServiceNow.
β’ Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
β’ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
β’ Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multinational setting.

β’ A bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
