Senior Associate, Cost Segregation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple cost segregation projects concurrently, ensuring efficiency and precision.

• Conduct site evaluations and inspections of relevant properties.

• Analyze and evaluate architectural and construction documentation.

• Create asset schedules and establish the correct tax treatment in line with IRS regulations.

• Relay project updates and findings to both internal team members and external stakeholders.

• Compile and present comprehensive cost segregation reports to clients.

• Guarantee that all work complies with the highest professional standards and maintains client confidentiality.

• Provide exceptional client service that meets or surpasses expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in conducting cost segregation studies.

• Strong grasp of federal tax depreciation regulations and IRS cost recovery guidelines.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, maintaining professionalism.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities; adept at prioritizing and managing multiple projects.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 25-30% for client site visits.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline.
