This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, prioritize, and establish a pipeline of potential member companies that align with CECP’s strategic growth objectives, utilizing tools such as ZoomInfo and others to qualify leads.
• Create customized pitches that clearly communicate CECP’s value (benchmarking, advisory, convening, peer connection).
• Execute targeted outreach (email, LinkedIn, referrals, events) to executives and leaders in corporate social impact.
• Maintain and oversee a comprehensive CRM pipeline, tracking engagement stages, conversion rates, and key insights.
• Arrange calls and meetings with prospective companies and CECP leadership, assisting with preparation and follow-up.
• Evaluate market trends, industry gaps, and competitor offerings to uncover new recruitment opportunities.
• Segment target companies by industry, size, and maturity to enhance outreach strategies and messaging.
• Contribute to the evolution of pricing and membership models by gathering market feedback and addressing objections.
• Utilize the existing member network to promote referrals and facilitate peer-to-peer recruitment opportunities.
• Tailor proposals and membership packages based on company priorities and budgetary considerations.
• Address objections and communicate differentiation compared to other networks or advisory providers.
• Ensure a seamless transition to engagement/relationship management teams for onboarding.
• Collaborate closely with Strategic Engagement, Marketing, and Research teams to synchronize messaging, materials, and outreach campaigns, as well as support the development of recruitment collateral (one-pagers, case studies, digital campaigns).
• Provide real-time market intelligence and insights to enhance CECP content, benchmarking, and product development.
• Monitor and report on recruitment KPIs (pipeline size, conversion rates, revenue targets, time-to-close).
• Analyze successes and setbacks to refine strategy and enhance future recruitment efforts.
• Regularly update leadership on pipeline health, risks, and growth prospects.
• Continuously test and optimize outreach strategies (messaging, channels, cadence).
• 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally with direct involvement in business development and sales/marketing.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project planning abilities; exceptional attention to detail.
• Genuine interest in the role of businesses in society, CSR, and driving positive change through business practices.
• Excellent research, writing, editing, and oral communication skills; dedication to customer service and comfort in engaging with corporate leaders and executives.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other standard computer applications; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
• A proactive, solution-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset to work effectively within a high-performing team.
• Capacity to manage multiple deadlines and projects seamlessly.
