Senior Associate, Business Development – Financial Institutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• This position is tasked with spearheading business development and fostering new partnerships for financial institution card programs throughout the organization.

• Collaborate closely with the SVP of Business Development to define and implement the financial institution strategy, which includes prospecting, structuring partnerships, pricing, and initiatives aimed at driving new account acquisitions, portfolio expansion, and fee income generation.

• Develop and expand a portfolio of credit card partners within financial institutions.

• Cultivate and maintain pivotal relationships with executives and decision-makers at partner organizations.

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new partnership opportunities with financial institutions that align with the growth strategy.

• Structure, negotiate, and finalize partnership agreements, covering financial terms, marketing commitments, and performance expectations.

• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Marketing, and Operations teams to design and launch innovative card programs.

• Serve as the primary coordination point between partners and internal teams to ensure effective execution.

• Represent the organization at industry events, partner meetings, and critical relationship interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience within the financial services sector, specifically in banking, credit cards, or related fields.

• A well-established network and a strong reputation in the financial services industry.

• Excellent relationship management and business development capabilities.
