Senior Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support Principals in project management, project development, and the growth of staff by overseeing specific projects or their components, which includes budgeting and communicating progress to the team.

• Translate project objectives into detailed tasks for the team and oversee Associates and Research Analysts.

• Create work products for evaluation by Principals and clients.

• Organize and participate in internal team meetings to clarify project scope, monitor progress, and brainstorm solutions to challenges.

• Develop analytical approaches centered on natural systems and economic factors.

• Execute geospatial analysis, statistical programming, physical system modeling, and economic assessments.

• Author reports and prepare presentations that encapsulate research findings, analyses, models, and synthesis.

• Evaluate the work of Associates and Research Analysts to ensure quality control and assurance.

• Perform specialized research and analysis tasks.

• Lead client meetings, deliver presentations, and address feedback and requests related to deliverables.

• Aid in business development through drafting proposals and engaging with potential clients.

• Engage in firm management activities, attend internal company meetings, conduct staff reviews, participate in recruitment, and promote staff welfare.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Economics, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or a foreign equivalent), or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in economic, scientific, or policy analysis.

• At least 2 years of experience in conducting quantitative data analysis using SQL, R, Python, or Stata.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience applying economic modeling techniques, such as cost-benefit analysis or natural resource damage assessments.

• At least 2 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Excel for modeling, data analysis, and scenario forecasting.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience engaging in business development activities and assessing business strategies.

• Proven ability to manage project teams and mentor junior analysts or research staff.

• Demonstrated capability in preparing and presenting written reports on analytical findings.

• Proven experience in developing or managing geospatial analyses using GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS.
