Senior Assembly Process Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of tools and processes for CoWoS assembly for NVIDIA's upcoming CoWoS products and platforms.

• Create and implement high-volume CoWoS assembly tools and validate assembly lines to scale NVIDIA's CoWoS products and platforms.

• Establish the architecture, features, and functionalities of the tools.

• Formulate stable processes for the CoWoS-S, CoWoS-L, and CoWoS-R platforms.

• Define the assembly workflow and take responsibility for assembly quality and reliability.

• Collaborate closely with fabs and assembly OSATs to implement and validate CoWoS processes in high-volume manufacturing environments.

• Work with internal design, fabrication, and packaging cross-functional teams to determine assembly requirements and flows.

• Assist in the design of various test structures and share relevant data.

• Lead the introduction of new assembly processes.

• Promote continuous enhancements in assembly yield, quality, and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field with equivalent experience.

• More than 12 years of experience in CoWoS.

• Strong expertise and background in CoWoS design, process, fabrication, testing, and assembly.

• Practical experience in CoWoS development, particularly with CoWoS-L and CoWoS-R processes, including building, qualifying assembly processes, and analyzing assembly data.

• Proficient statistical analysis skills, including data visualization techniques for analyzing assembly data and optimizing manufacturing practices.

• Knowledge of quality control, statistical process control, and Design of Experiments (DOE) methods.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Familiarity with CoWoS design or fabrication, including an understanding of CoWoS structures.

• Strong command of AutoCAD or similar software tools.

• Experience with mechanical simulation software like Ansys Mechanical.
