This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee both Company Owned and Franchisee locations within the designated region.
• Propel revenue growth and enhance profitability by ensuring effective front-end retail execution.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with franchise partners to ensure alignment, profitability, and expansion.
• Maintain financial discipline across partner stores, including managing deposits and ensuring timely sales collections in accordance with company standards.
• Directly manage store operations while supervising Area/Cluster Managers and Store Managers for efficient execution.
• Foster business development efforts, including launching profitable new stores and upgrading existing locations (improved positioning/larger formats).
• Guarantee that all stores adhere to PUMA's brand and operational standards.
• Propel sales growth and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) across all locations.
• Optimize store productivity and maximize revenue from current markets.
• Identify and implement business development opportunities, including new store openings and market expansion.
• Ensure effective operational expenditure (OPEX) control across stores, including rent negotiations and cost optimization to enhance overall profitability.
• Ensure the successful execution of promotions, discounts, and retail initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners, franchisees, malls, and landlords for sustainable long-term business growth.
• Ensure compliance with financial norms, including partner deposits and sales collection timelines.
• Promote partner profitability and sustainable growth.
• Ensure seamless store operations across all locations.
• Manage optimal staffing levels and coordinate the recruitment of store managers with HR.
• Ensure inventory availability aligns with business needs.
• Lead the implementation of store initiatives, visual merchandising standards, and enhance customer experience.
• Benchmark stores against relevant competitors regarding sales and market positioning.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor strategies, and retail innovations.
• Drive institutional partnerships and explore local business opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop store managers and Area/Cluster Managers.
• Provide strong on-the-ground leadership and performance management.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales and/or management.
• A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field is required.
• Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• A proven history of achieving sales targets.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%).
• Role may necessitate working during weekends or peak retail periods based on business requirements.
