This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee the design of intricate, production-ready solutions utilizing Red Hat OpenShift, with an emphasis on Internal Developer Platforms (such as Red Hat Developer Hub/Backstage), CI/CD modernization, and AI-enhanced workflows.
• Facilitate technical discovery sessions and workshops to pinpoint customer challenges and showcase the advantages of Red Hat's offerings.
• Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in Platform Engineering and AI-Assisted Application Modernization for both customer and internal teams, assisting them through the design, pilot, and production deployment phases.
• Collaborate with customers to recognize obstacles and impediments to adopting modern software delivery practices, working with them to meet their technical and business needs.
• Partner closely with Red Hat's product, engineering, professional services, and sales teams to guarantee a top-notch customer experience.
• Create and disseminate best practices, reusable assets, and architectural frameworks for application modernization, contribute to whitepapers and webinars, and present at industry conferences.
• Over 10 years of experience in a senior technology position such as enterprise architecture, consulting, or sales engineering, concentrating on large-scale infrastructure solutions and platform adoption.
• Extensive expertise and hands-on experience in constructing and managing Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), enhancing developer workflows, and expediting the production process.
• Direct, practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools, AI-driven application modernization, and the integration of LLMs/AI services into enterprise software delivery.
• Significant experience with Kubernetes and container platform implementations in large organizations, preferably utilizing Red Hat OpenShift.
• Profound understanding of contemporary CI/CD pipelines, GitOps methodologies (like ArgoCD and Tekton), and microservices architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, ideally Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or its derivatives, in enterprise production settings.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for comprehending customer challenges and fostering enduring relationships.
