This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Oversee the design and execution of large-scale finance transformations within enterprises.
• Act as a reliable advisor to clients who are modernizing their financial operations and business processes.
• Provide guidance on general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank management, fixed assets, budgeting, and project accounting.
• Collaborate with business leaders, finance stakeholders, project teams, and executive sponsors to assess current processes and develop future solutions.
• Lead discovery sessions, gather requirements, and conduct fit-gap analyses.
• Facilitate workshops and convert business requirements into functional solution designs.
• Support clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Partner with architects, consultants, project managers, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure effective design, delivery, testing, and deployment.
• Contribute to architectural governance, ensure solution quality, mitigate risks, and promote continuous improvement.
• Deliver recommendations, explain complex ideas, and foster agreement among business and technology teams.
• Mentor colleagues and influence strategic choices.
• Assist in pre-sales efforts, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and development of Statements of Work (SOW).
• Travel both domestically and internationally as needed based on client and project requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; a strong focus on accounting education is preferred.
• 8-10+ years of experience in ERP finance implementations.
• 4+ full lifecycle D365 F&O/AX projects in a lead architect capacity.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Extensive functional knowledge in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Project Accounting.
• Proven experience leading requirements gathering, business process analysis, fit-gap assessments, solution design, and functional specification development.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial controls, compliance issues, and finance process optimization.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
• Experience interacting with users, business leaders, executives, and steering committees.
• Experience in pre-sales activities, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and SOW development.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MB-310 or MB-700, or equivalent, are strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with finance ISVs and integration patterns for Power Platform/Azure is a plus.
• Proven success in leading large, cross-functional enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Willingness and capability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Must be a US citizen or have the ability to work in the US without sponsorship.
