Senior Architect – Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Enhance your expertise in Red Hat technologies through Red Hat University and collaborative support from the broader consulting team to meet customer requirements.

• Act as a subject matter expert on-site with customers, addressing their technical, developmental, or strategic IT requirements.

• Oversee the identification of problems, define system architecture, specify and design software, and manage the testing and deployment of open source solutions.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and implement these insights to fulfill customer needs.

• Adjust to evolving customer demands.

• Handle incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience and/or industry-recognized certifications (especially Red Hat certifications).

• Over 5 years of experience in a consulting role or a similar position.

• Familiarity or experience with infrastructure and cloud technologies, such as enterprise-level virtualization or containerization.

• Basic understanding of modern application development methodologies and the software delivery lifecycle.

• Strong customer-facing abilities; capable of presenting to clients and facilitating customer interactions.

• Knowledge of one or more Red Hat infrastructure solutions, such as Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Virtualization, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat Ansible Tower, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, or Red Hat OpenShift is advantageous; however, candidates with K8s, Chef, or Puppet experience will also be considered.

• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification is preferred, along with Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification or a willingness to obtain this certification early in your career with Red Hat.

• Openness to travel as required by project needs.

• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is highly desirable.

• Citizenship in the Netherlands or EU.
