Senior Architect, AI – Cloud Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of Information Security technologies, including scalable security architectures that facilitate the secure adoption of solutions, such as emerging GenAI technologies.

• Offer design and architectural guidance for enterprise-level security initiatives, system integration, and tools, particularly within the AI security domain.

• Act as the technical lead in the design and development of various cybersecurity controls, solutions, processes, and functions.

• Create and uphold secure architecture frameworks and patterns for various solutions.

• Collaborate and deliver throughout the entire project lifecycle, from project management and architecture design to installation, configuration, and documentation of security solutions.

• Serve as a business liaison and advisor for one or more business units.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• Familiarity with at least three cybersecurity domains (e.g., platform security, application security, network security, infrastructure, cloud security, data security, and identity and access management).

• Extensive experience in designing secure architectures for LLMs, generative AI systems, RAG pipelines, and autonomous AI agents across various vendor offerings.

• Proficient in threat modeling using the STRIDE methodology.

• Knowledgeable about AI threats and mitigation techniques, including the OWASP Top 10 AI frameworks.

• Understanding of how to mitigate supply chain risks and attacks related to AI security solutions.

• Familiarity with secure DevOps practices against AI-specific threats.

• Experience in drafting technical documentation.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer engagement.

• Recognized as an expert in their field within the organization, possessing a broad range of technical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of related disciplines.

• Capable of transforming technical solutions into well-documented build guides and escalating issues to the appropriate management levels within the organization.

• Ability to mentor peers and provide guidance for their success.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficient in interacting professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalating issues to the appropriate management levels.
