Senior Applied GenAI Video Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage video generation pipelines, including prompt orchestration, asset conditioning, shot assembly, rendering, post-processing, and delivery.

• Convert product objectives (enhanced ad creatives, quicker iterations) into quantifiable GenAI results (quality, CTR lift proxies, latency, cost).

• Integrate external video GenAI vendors/APIs and oversee versioning, fallback strategies, quotas, and reliability.

• Establish evaluation frameworks to assess video quality and ad readiness.

• Optimize for latency, throughput, and cost through techniques like caching, batching, retries, parallelism, and content-aware routing.

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to implement enhancements swiftly and securely.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building production-grade video GenAI systems.

• Strong engineering capabilities in Python, alongside solid software design, testing, code reviews, and performance tuning.

• Practical knowledge of LLMs and multimodal prompting, including prompt design, tool/function calling patterns, structured outputs, and guardrails.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, containers, experiment tracking, monitoring/alerting, and cloud deployment.

• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in technical documentation and collaborative efforts.
