Senior Applied AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage AI-driven functionalities within production SaaS applications.

• Integrate large language models and various machine learning capabilities into current systems.

• Create AI workflows that encompass retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, and fallback strategies.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to convert user requirements into intelligent system behavior.

• Work alongside platform and DevSecOps teams to guarantee that AI systems are secure, observable, and scalable.

• Establish evaluation strategies to assess the quality, regressions, and business impact of AI features.

• Contribute to system and service design to ensure AI capabilities are seamlessly integrated into the overall architecture.

• Utilize strong software engineering practices, including testing, code reviews, and incremental delivery.

• Mentor fellow engineers and share best practices for applied AI development.

• Keep updated with the latest AI tools and techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Practical experience in developing and deploying AI-enabled features in a production environment.

• Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and distributed systems.

• Experience with large language models and other machine learning models.

• Knowledge of evaluating, monitoring, and ensuring observability of AI workflows.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and managed cloud services.

• Ability to work across backend services, data pipelines, and user-facing systems.
