This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Proactively seek and resolve security vulnerabilities within the Counterpart Assistant by utilizing various tools and custom scripts to simulate real-world attacks.
• Strengthen the security of systems, services, and endpoints surrounding the platform.
• Implement robust security monitoring for services and the overall technology stack.
• Protect PHI and oversee deidentification practices.
• Detect and eliminate potential pathways for protected data leakage.
• Leverage AI agents and frameworks to enhance vulnerability detection while adhering to established guardrails.
• Assist the engineering team in building securely as the landscape of AI threats continues to evolve.
• Evaluate critical pull requests across different teams.
• Conduct security training and mentor engineers in secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with site reliability engineering, engineering leadership, and corporate security teams to devise defensive strategies.
• Enhance resilience and ensure robust disaster recovery measures are in place.
• A minimum of 8 years in software engineering.
• At least 4 years dedicated to application security, vulnerability research, and penetration testing.
• Proven experience in identifying vulnerabilities using custom tools.
• Regular daily application of AI for vulnerability identification.
• Familiarity with a variety of AI tools, agents, and frameworks.
• Knowledge of suitable AI security guardrails.
• Proficient coding skills across the entire stack.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages.
• Capability to balance security requirements with the needs of engineers, clinicians, and operators.
• Experience in mentoring engineers to adopt improved security practices.
• Background in developing software that impacts patient care.
