📋 Description

• System Development: Engage in the architecture, configuration, development, deployment, integration, testing, and maintenance of NOC Portal systems.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose, debug, and enhance existing software.

• System Improvement: Recognize areas in current NOC Portal systems that require modification and implement these enhancements.

• Code Development: Produce high-quality code to complete features on time.

• Operational Evaluation: Evaluate the operational efficiency of applications.

• System Monitoring: Oversee, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in supported NOC Portal systems to ensure continuous 24x7 availability.

• SDLC Compliance: Adhere to Software Development Lifecycle processes and tools.

• Agile Practices: Utilize agile methodologies and principles to maximize business value and consistently enhance customer outcomes.

• Research: Contribute to researching and identifying new and emerging technologies to improve NOC Portal processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong full-stack web development expertise, focusing on contemporary front-end and back-end development.

• A college degree in a technical or related discipline or a minimum of 8 years of experience in a structured development environment.

• Software Development: Proficiency in software design and development within a test-driven framework.

• Agile: Understanding of agile practices and management tools, such as Azure Dev Ops, build/deployment YAML pipelines, and other Azure Tools.

• Git/Source Code Management: Experience in code management, including branching, merging, and pull requests. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot for code generation, debugging, and codebase analysis to expedite delivery and enhance code quality.

• Web Applications/Coding Languages: Strong programming capabilities in Python, along with experience in Python libraries and frameworks. Modern front-end experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a current framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular). PHP experience is advantageous for maintaining and gradually migrating the existing application.

• Scripting/ETL: Skilled in writing and debugging shell scripts for automation and ETL processes. Experience scheduling and managing cron job tasks; familiarity with (or a desire to learn) workflow orchestrators like Apache Airflow is a plus. Exposure to Perl is beneficial for transitioning legacy reporting processes.

• APIs and Web Services: Practical experience with one or more of the following: RESTful API principles, API Access Concepts (including REST, SSO, LDAP, OAuth2, etc.).

• Programming/Markup Languages: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.

• Systems: Competence in Linux command line operations, system administration, and environment setup. Familiar with web application server technologies (e.g., Apache HTTPD, IIS, or Tomcat).

• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure. Experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with containerization using Docker, including Docker images, containers, and orchestration.

• Databases: Experience with MySQL/MariaDB database design, querying, and administration. Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Neo4j, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Snowflake.
