Senior Analytics Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and develop tailored dashboards within the Omni platform.

• Craft visually appealing and user-centric analytics experiences leveraging Omni’s built-in features.

• Transform nascent or vacant Omni environments into fully functional business dashboards.

• Implement UI/UX principles for dashboard design, navigation, filtering, and user interactions.

• Construct dashboards for executives, operational teams, and customer-facing applications.

• Convert business inquiries into measurable metrics, visual representations, and analytical insights.

• Specify dashboard structures, visual hierarchy, filtering logic, navigation paths, and reusable components.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to grasp KPIs, reporting requirements, and user expectations.

• Work alongside data engineering teams to pinpoint data gaps, modeling necessities, and metric specifications.

• Ensure dashboard precision by validating against Snowflake-supported data sources.

• Facilitate embedded analytics and customer-facing experiences within Omni.

• Set up dashboard permissions, user access, and row-level security considerations.

• Enhance dashboards for user experience, performance, and ease of maintenance.

• Document dashboard logic, metric definitions, and user instructions.

• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in building dashboards within Omni.

• In-depth knowledge of Omni dashboards, workbooks, visualizations, filters, and metrics.

• Capability to create refined analytics experiences using Omni’s native UI functionalities.

• Experience in transforming raw or incomplete data environments into functional dashboards.

• Familiarity with embedded analytics principles in the context of Omni.

• Ability to assist in customer-facing or white-labeled analytics solutions.

• Strong aptitude for modern and clean dashboard design.

• Skill in designing intuitive dashboard layouts and user flows within Omni.

• Experience in enhancing usability, navigation, and visual storytelling in analytics tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of data visualization best practices.

• Ability to distill complex data into clear business insights.

• Experience in designing executive dashboards, operational dashboards, and self-service analytics views.

• Knowledge of visual hierarchy, spacing, grouping, filters, and drilldowns.

• Proficient SQL skills.

• Experience working with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms.

• Ability to validate data accuracy and resolve reporting problems.

• Understanding of data modeling concepts.

• Experience with facts, dimensions, joins, aggregations, and calculated fields.

• Capability to define business metrics and analytical logic.

• Strong English communication abilities.

• Ability to engage directly with business and technical stakeholders.

• Skill in asking pertinent questions and clarifying dashboard requirements.

• Comfortable functioning as an integrated member of the customer’s team.

• Ability to independently deliver dashboards from concept to a production-ready state.

• Experience with Omni is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with other analytics platforms such as Looker, Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or ThoughtSpot is advantageous.

• Basic understanding of Snowflake.

• Experience with embedded analytics or customer-facing BI products.

• Experience in building dashboards for SaaS, enterprise, or multi-tenant environments.

• Knowledge of row-level security and data permissions.

• Experience in creating reusable dashboard templates or analytics design patterns.

• Experience collaborating with product teams on analytics user experiences.

• 5–8+ years of background in analytics, BI, dashboard development, or data visualization.

• Strong hands-on experience with Omni dashboard development.

• Strong UI/UX sensibility in analytics and dashboard design.

• Robust SQL and data validation capabilities.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Preference for candidates located in nearshore LATAM.
