Senior Analytics Engineer, DBT / Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Become a member of a dedicated team of developers engaged in projects for both local and international clients.

• Participate in various stages of the complete delivery process.

• Maintain direct communication with clients and conduct business analysis of the challenges presented.

• Develop suitable solutions and oversee their implementation.

• Transition the solutions into the production environment.

• Collaborate closely with members of the machine learning team.

• Design scalable transformation pipelines utilizing DBT and cloud data warehouse technologies.

• Construct a scalable data platform for processing operational data from pharmaceutical laboratories and global supply chains.

• Create robust, maintainable, and well-documented data models.

• Work in conjunction with international data engineering and analytics teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven commercial experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).

• Proficient in SQL and data modeling.

• Experience in building data transformation pipelines.

• Strong comprehension of ELT architecture.

• Knowledge of incremental models and DBT snapshots.

• Experience in writing DBT macros and Jinja templates.

• Familiarity with optimizing data pipeline performance.

• Experience with Git-based development workflows.

• Nice to have: Experience with AWS (Redshift).

• Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.

• Experience in developing global analytics platforms.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for data engineering.

• Knowledge of data governance and lineage tools.

• Experience in managing large-scale data environments.
