This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and create intricate data models for dashboards, self-service analytics, and data science teams.
• Write optimized, scalable SQL queries for extensive, diverse data warehouses.
• Facilitate AI tools using semantic layers and observability mechanisms.
• Provide guidance to analytics functions on best practices.
• Oversee and enhance data infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making solutions.
• Assist in the development of front-end applications that present analytical datasets across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with Product and Corporate Engineering system teams to structure source systems for enterprise reporting usage.
• Establish the groundwork for a top-tier analytics function.
• Partner with the data science team and business stakeholders to ensure analytics systems and processes align with business requirements.
• A minimum of four years of experience in data-related roles.
• At least two years of experience in Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with common analytics tools.
• Proficiency in dbt is mandatory.
• Experience with tools such as Stitch, Fivetran, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Airflow, Dagster, Looker, Mode, or Sigma.
• A system-oriented mindset combined with a software engineering perspective.
• Extensive knowledge of dimensional and fact modeling within modern data practices.
• Proven experience in building data frameworks and reducing customized queries.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship is required.
