This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Champion a data-driven culture by transforming data into actionable insights that support analysis and informed decision-making.
• Manage data by ingesting, cleaning, and organizing raw data to create a coherent structure for the team and yourself.
• Oversee data projects from ingestion through to reporting, demonstrating your ability to manage, scope, and navigate ambiguity effectively.
• Facilitate collaboration between Business, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure business requirements are accurately captured and reflected in data schema design.
• Contribute to the development of the data model at Super, enhancing our overall analytics strategy and fostering trust across the organization.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gain insights into current processes and work together to design and implement more efficient and automated workflows.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an analytics engineer or full-stack data analyst.
• Proficient in SQL, particularly in writing high-performance code.
• Expertise in data modeling with prior experience designing schemas, preferably using dbt.
• Strong understanding of data warehouses and the modern data stack.
• Proven history of delivering projects, including datasets that have significantly influenced key business outcomes.
• Ability to independently build ELT and reverse ETL pipelines using standard tools or simple DAGs in Airflow with Python.
• Experience with data governance, data quality testing, and documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical topics to non-technical audiences, acting as a bridge between Business, Engineering, and Analytics.
• Preferred but not mandatory: Experience in accounting or finance.
