Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Create and develop models that transform raw data into valuable metrics and data products, utilizing DBT and medallion architecture.

• Establish clear definitions of success for our products by setting up and monitoring key business metrics.

• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams to gather requirements, share methodologies, and educate on best practices for data utilization.

• Lead data modeling initiatives, selecting appropriate tools and strategizing on the execution of the projects.

• Efficiently handle data of all scales, including petabyte-scale datasets, to empower informed data-driven decisions.

• Support partner teams by developing and clarifying analytical metrics, aiding in their understanding of how data influences various aspects of the product and business.

• Enhance our team's workflows and code quality by delivering well-documented solutions that can be reused in the future.

• Employ modern tools (GCP BigQuery, AWS S3, Fivetran, Hightouch, and AI tools like Claude Code) and assist in refining our evolving data architecture.

• Work in collaboration with a global, remote team that prioritizes learning, open-source software, and innovative ideas.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with SQL and DBT in real-world production environments.

• Strong background in building data models for large datasets (up to petabytes) on cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.

• A strong enthusiasm for experimenting with new tools, acquiring new technologies, and devising straightforward solutions for complex challenges.

• The capability to evaluate the best solution among various technical options, communicate effectively, and thrive in asynchronous work settings.

• Experience in developing solutions and conveying them clearly to diverse audiences.

• Comfort in working within a remote team, effectively managing your time, and collaborating across multiple teams.
