Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design the core data warehouse model that converts raw Kafka topics into well-documented, user-friendly data products that add value for data consumers.

• Work closely with data engineers to create our streaming ETL framework, enhancing its reliability and user experience.

• Assist the team in delivering new functionalities while maintaining current features in the OpenMetadata data catalog.

• Engage actively in the implementation of data quality and data governance tools and processes.

• Collaborate with data consumers throughout the organization, addressing their daily data needs and converting requirements into dependable, well-documented data products.

• Address the unique challenges associated with establishing a Data Platform from the ground up.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have experience as an analyst or analytics engineer in technical projects related to data platform implementation.

• You possess strong SQL skills for analytical tasks.

• You are familiar with Python and PySpark.

• You are skilled in Git, ETL tools, or dbt.

• You have developed data products or data warehouse models on a contemporary data platform (such as Databricks, Spark, or dbt).

• You have an understanding of how streaming pipelines function.

• You are adept at gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into technical solutions.

• You demonstrate a high degree of autonomy and self-direction.
