Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume full responsibility for our dbt pipeline, enhancing our data models to ensure they are dependable, thoroughly tested, and easy to develop further.

• Oversee and expand our Looker configurations, delivering new dashboards and reports that are essential for customers and various stakeholders.

• Fortify our data pipeline from Postgres to BigQuery, and develop custom Python scripts to automate the processes that keep our data warehouse up-to-date.

• Connect our data warehouse with external applications such as Salesforce and ActiveCampaign, ensuring that the appropriate data is accessible to the teams that require it.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in constructing and maintaining data models using dbt, along with proficiency in writing advanced SQL.

• Strong Python programming skills for data synchronization, automation, and general scripting tasks.

• Practical experience with a cloud-based data warehouse like BigQuery, and familiarity with source databases such as Postgres.

• Proven ability to build dashboards and provide data to non-technical stakeholders (a solid command of Looker is highly advantageous).

• In-depth, hands-on experience with AI coding tools—particularly Claude Code—and a routine of incorporating them into your daily tasks.

• A realistic approach to problem-solving coupled with a strong sense of ownership, feeling at ease managing projects independently.

• Exceptional communication abilities in English.
