• Work alongside business partners to collect requirements for business reporting and analytics to enhance operational and clinical effectiveness.
• Assess and confirm the accuracy and integrity of the data shown in analytics and reporting outputs.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics teams to convert raw data into actionable metrics and insights.
• Employ visualization tools (such as PowerBI) to craft and produce analytics dashboards and operational reports.
• Educate end users on newly implemented dashboards and deliverables.
• Assist with the continuous improvement and upkeep of deployed dashboards and deliverables.
• Oversee internal and external timelines related to data reporting.
• Identify and monitor issues related to reports, including logical defects, data quality concerns, and process errors.
• Keep documentation of existing reports and dashboards (including KPI definitions, data sources, etc.).
• Perform other responsibilities related to this role as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, data science, statistics, public health, economics, or a closely related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• Over 3 years of experience in a reporting or health economics setting within the healthcare industry.
• At least 1 year of experience in developing dashboards and reports using BI tools (such as Power BI or Tableau).
• Strong SQL skills are essential; proficiency in SQL and Python programming is preferred.
• Experience in developing data models or collaborating with data engineering teams to convert business requirements into scalable, analytics-ready datasets.
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in value-based care, is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in transforming data into meaningful reports and visualizations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, multitasking, documentation, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of communicating effectively in both spoken and written formats to a diverse audience.
• Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of healthcare privacy and security regulations.
• Experience with healthcare data (such as EMR and/or claims) is preferred.
• High levels of curiosity and a growth-oriented mindset.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a mostly remote setting, with a home internet connection supporting a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps; Cable, Fiber, or DSL connections hardwired to the internet device are recommended.
