This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver expertise and experience in Epic product functions, design, construction, and testing for the designated Epic module related to Epic Healthy Planet.
• Collaborate with end users to design and develop the Epic system efficiently and professionally, implementing necessary configurations or enhancements.
• Lead initiatives involving medium to large-scale complexity for Epic software upgrades or workflow enhancements, covering the design, build, and testing phases.
• Engage in design and validation sessions, ensuring proper documentation, follow-up, and issue escalation are conducted.
• Provide technical and/or clinical consultation, including application configuration. Assess, analyze, and evaluate system requirements to formulate recommendations for clients.
• Create, support, and maintain all essential system design and build documentation along with other system records.
• Conduct daily monitoring of applications in production.
• Actively engage in all phases of the testing lifecycle, executing unit, system, and integrated testing tasks and activities for Epic workflows.
• Offer support for application incidents reported through the help desk, including 24/7 on-call availability as necessary.
• Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of software functionalities and operational workflows to be implemented.
• Conduct thorough analyses of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical challenges associated with Epic software.
• Collaborate with trainers to design and sustain application-specific training curricula and materials.
• Convert business requirements into functional specifications, managing changes to those specifications while prioritizing, coordinating, and implementing updates and requests for changes to the system; review and test each new release; troubleshoot user issues and inquiries.
• Comply with organizational standards for system configuration and change control.
• Build strong relationships with end-user communities, clients, and business partners.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders from initial requirements through to final implementation.
• Diagnose and/or resolve application issues, escalating more complex problems as necessary.
• Over 5 years of experience with Epic applications.
• Must possess an active and current Epic certification in Healthy Planet.
• Current NVT (New Version Training) and Epic CEE (Continued Epic Education) certifications are required to maintain certifications, proficiencies, and badges.
