Senior Analyst, Investment Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive daily reviews of orders generated by algorithms for trades within managed portfolios.

• Ensure the accuracy of orders and address any anomalies prior to their submission to the trade desk.

• Conduct systematic and regular evaluations of managed accounts.

• Actively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, workflow issues, and systemic trading challenges.

• Execute daily portfolio management and trading support activities with reliability and efficiency.

• Collaborate with internal trading desks, investment operations, and product teams.

• Optimize trade execution processes.

• Improve capabilities for tracking portfolios.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in portfolio operations, trade execution, or financial analysis within a contemporary financial institution or fintech environment.

• Strong skills in analytical thinking and quantitative problem-solving.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt.

• Capability to articulate operational risks effectively.

• Ability to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional investment and engineering teams.

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
