Senior Analyst, Financial Systems – Oracle GL, Financial Close

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical support for the Corporate Accounting team during Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-End closing processes.

• Address complex journal entry challenges and determine underlying causes.

• Oversee and manage all configurations within the GL system.

• Recognize and execute automation possibilities in the Oracle Close Monitor.

• Supervise and resolve issues with inbound interfaces from Oracle sub-ledgers and external systems.

• Develop, sustain, and enhance intricate financial reports utilizing Oracle Financial Reporting Studio.

• Ensure compliance with Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls within the GL module.

• Serve as the ultimate technical escalation point for complicated incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of advancing IT experience with Oracle Financials.

• At least 4 years dedicated specifically to the General Ledger and Financial Close modules.

• Strong grasp of US GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.

• Demonstrated expertise in root-cause analysis for out-of-balance ledgers.

• Involvement in a minimum of two complete Oracle Financials implementation cycles.

• Experience in a regulated environment such as healthcare, insurance, or financial services.
