This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance management processes for critical areas within the Product, Technology & Analytics organization.
• Develop and refine financial models, KPI dashboards, reporting tools, and planning frameworks to enhance executive visibility and facilitate data-driven product investment decisions.
• Utilize BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar), SQL, and financial systems to create and provide accurate, scalable reporting on technology and product expenditures, investment performance, and essential business drivers.
• Generate insights and recommendations for product and engineering leaders regarding budget performance, variance drivers, forecast risks and opportunities, investment trade-offs, and cost-optimization strategies across technology investments and vendor expenditures.
• Spearhead the creation of monthly and quarterly executive and board-level presentations, transforming complex financial and operational data into clear narratives for senior technology and product leadership.
• Facilitate cross-functional planning with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to synchronize roadmap planning, investment priorities, and resource allocation decisions.
• Recognize, develop, and execute process enhancements and automation initiatives, including leveraging AI tools and data automation to improve forecast accuracy, planning efficiency, and executive visibility.
• Direct ad hoc financial analyses and special projects for the FP&A leadership, CFO, and product and technology leadership, encompassing defining the business question, conducting the analysis, and presenting actionable recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related analytical field.
• 5-8 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, corporate finance, product/technology operations, or a relevant analytical role; prior experience supporting executive, product, and technology leadership is highly preferred.
• Background in SaaS/technology companies and private equity portfolio environments is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, including skills in pivot tables, lookups, and structured financial analysis; familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven track record of leading financial planning processes, creating new analytical frameworks, influencing cross-functional product and technology stakeholders, and converting data into executive-level recommendations.
• Capability to clearly communicate financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Comfort in working independently, managing ambiguity, and adapting to shifting priorities.
• Familiarity with operating expense management, headcount planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting is a strong plus.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Adaptive Planning, Tableau, Power BI, or similar systems is also valued.
