This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives related to M&A, capital markets, special projects, organic growth opportunities, and business development.
• Identify and prioritize key strategic initiatives, shape overall strategy, and pinpoint areas of M&A focus in collaboration with Corporate Development leadership.
• Enhance and implement procedures and analytical frameworks for evaluating M&A opportunities.
• Conduct research and analysis on high-priority strategic markets, including industry mapping and thorough investigations into targeted M&A and partnership opportunities.
• Carry out ad hoc analyses and financial modeling tasks.
• Assist in cross-functional efforts to assess and execute capital markets activities.
• Collaborate with and facilitate cross-functional initiatives throughout all stages of M&A execution, including due diligence, business case development, financial modeling, and integration.
• Create strategic and financial presentations for board and executive-level audiences.
• Engage directly with senior management and maintain regular interactions with the CFO.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; a focus in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferred.
• At least 2+ years of pertinent experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development, or transaction services.
• Proven exposure to M&A transactions.
• Direct experience in supporting M&A execution, including due diligence, financial modeling, and deal analysis.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Ability to independently construct operational, acquisition, and pro forma models.
• Demonstrated capacity to work cross-functionally and autonomously in a fast-paced, high-judgment environment.
• Exposure to public equity or debt capital markets is preferred.
• Experience with software or technology transactions is preferred.
• A strong interest in and knowledge of the software or technology sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours each day.
• Ability to operate computer and phone systems, type, and utilize multiple software programs simultaneously.
• Must be available five days a week during specified work hours.
