Senior Analyst, Contract Performance

📋 Description

• Develop monthly finance accrual proposals for review by the Senior Manager and provide support to leaders as necessary for the monthly accrual meeting with Finance.

• Responsible for managing and enhancing the team SharePoint site, identifying opportunities for improvement based on trends in team productivity and achievements, ensuring the successful completion of the team's work and alignment with Navitus’ strategic and business objectives.

• Accountable for the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of data within team workflow tools, including RFP/renewal deadlines and new client implementations.

• Oversee the maintenance of commonly used resource documents on the team SharePoint site, including the performance guarantee library, FAQs, subject matter experts, and standard performance guarantee contract exhibits.

• Mentor current contract performance analysts and train new hires, fostering positive communication within the entire contract performance team to collaborate effectively towards shared goals.

• Support the Contract Performance team in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, which includes, but is not limited to: reviewing requested performance guarantees, comparing them to previously requested guarantees for consistency, and presenting findings to the Contract Performance team.

• Conduct outreach for departmental approval of performance guarantees, consolidate responses, and review them with the Contract Performance team.

• Deliver RFP responses to the Proposal team.

• Upon notification of a client win, review the service, network, and/or rebate guarantees agreed upon during the RFP process and inform the relevant operational areas.

• During contract negotiations, evaluate contract redlines, conduct outreach for departmental approval of any edits to performance guarantees, and prepare final recommendations.

• After contract execution notification, communicate the final contract guarantees to the operational areas prior to the go-live date.

• Responsible for Performance Guarantee (PG) reporting, which includes monitoring the collection of monthly, quarterly, and annual service performance guarantee results from process owners.

• Identify, research, and facilitate corrective actions for missed guarantees with process owners and the Client Services team, determining penalty payouts when applicable.

• Analyze underperformance in network financial performance reports and notify the Pharmacy Networks team to identify causes and necessary next steps.

• Assist the Manager with the development, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of performance guarantee data repositories and report writing programs.

• Prepare PG-related reports for senior leadership as required.

• Schedule, facilitate, and document meetings and discussions.

• Participate as a member of cross-functional workgroups, teams, and committees as assigned.

• Aid in the creation and upkeep of departmental work instructions.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• A college degree or equivalent experience in business administration, contract management, health care administration, or a related field; or a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.

• Practical experience managing multiple projects at once.

• Ability to handle requirements, meet deadlines on deliverables, and continuously communicate with business partners and internal clients regarding contract performance issues.

• Capability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw pertinent conclusions, and implement suitable solutions.

• Actively participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.

• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with fellow employees.
