This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, enhance, and take ownership of the technical quality of TechInsights' proprietary Compute AI model, integrating teardown, reverse-engineering, costing, and market intelligence data.
• Oversee the comprehensive market model for SoC processors and AI accelerators, encompassing market share, forecasts, bottom-up analysis by player/product, Silicon IP, design supply-chain, foundry/wafer demand, AI xPU performance, power demand, and token economics, extending into fabless, foundry, OEM, and hyperscaler segments.
• Utilize problem-solving and AI-driven tools to expedite the modeling of AI silicon, packaging, and system-level cost/performance trends.
• Document and refine the modeling methodology to ensure scalability across the Compute/AI practice.
• Conduct research, write, and publish advanced technical analyses on the insights from the model and its supply chain implications.
• Collaborate with other analysts within the Market Intelligence organization, acting as a technical resource and mentor (including mentoring the AI Market Intelligence Analyst on the team).
• Contribute to the team’s Innovation & R&D agenda and represent modeling capabilities in internal forums and cross-functional planning.
• Present model findings to clients and executives, transforming complex outputs into understandable narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in select high-value client engagements (routine inquiries/sales support are managed by junior coverage).
• Over 8 years of experience in semiconductor market research, technology analysis, or a related field, with a proven track record of ownership over a product, model, or analytical framework.
• Extensive technical and analytical expertise in semiconductor markets and data modeling, including proficiency in advanced modeling techniques and AI-driven tools.
• Strong comprehension of the semiconductor supply chain, including fabless, foundry, OEM, and hyperscaler segments.
• Demonstrated capability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems with creativity, rigor, and independent judgment, requiring minimal guidance.
• Experience in mentoring junior analysts and serving as a technical resource across teams.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
