This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Assist in the planning and execution of standard procedures for Threat and Vulnerability Assessments, Incident Response Planning, and various enterprise resilience initiatives.
• Facilitate continuity initiatives through Business Impact Analysis and the development of Business Continuity Plans.
• Oversee incident monitoring, situational evaluations, and response activities for natural disasters, geopolitical incidents, and localized disruptions.
• Participate in crisis management activations and incident response coordination at site, regional, and business levels.
• Lead or assist in exercises and tabletop simulations to validate existing plans and identify any deficiencies.
• Create and disseminate training and awareness materials.
• Conduct after-action reviews and promote improvement initiatives.
• Organize governance reviews and maintain status reporting.
• Monitor and evaluate intelligence inputs for situational awareness and emerging threats.
• Implement, test, and train site teams on mass notification systems.
• Engage in audits and assessments, including the development and support of corrective measures.
• Typically requires a University Degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline, or in the absence of a degree, 6 years of applicable experience.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Experience in emergency management, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-energy, and fast-paced environment.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement in resilience and continuity efforts.
• Strong coordination abilities and capacity to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor's degree in emergency management, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Public Administration, or a similar area.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities to assess trends, evaluate severity, and assist in decision-making.
• Effective communication skills for addressing sensitive inquiries or issues.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Everbridge Tool Suite (or similar tools).
• Foundational understanding of business continuity methodologies, incident management frameworks, or ISO 22301 is advantageous.
• Experience in a corporate, manufacturing, or technology-oriented environment.
• Ability to synthesize information and support decision-making under time-sensitive situations.
