Senior Analyst, Business Operations & Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various business units at Yelp to leverage data-driven insights for making strategic decisions that yield robust financial outcomes.

• Deliver analytical support through practical Excel usage and other tools such as SQL, Salesforce, Python, Google Analytics, and Tableau.

• Discover actionable insights, apply business judgment, propose recommendations, and shape the direction of Yelp’s business.

• Effectively engage with cross-functional teams and communicate analytical findings.

• Develop Tableau dashboards that enhance visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs), marketing effectiveness, and business trends/drivers.

• Assist in business operations and strategic initiatives related to sales incentives, product pricing, marketing customer acquisition, community contributions, and product priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Math, Economics, or a similar field.

• Over 2 years of pertinent business experience addressing analytical challenges through quantitative methods.

• Familiarity with diverse business models and functions.

• Outstanding Excel modeling capabilities.

• Experience with SQL is advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of navigating between detailed data and overarching insights.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Capability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Proficient in working efficiently with both executive management and front-line staff.
