Senior Analog/RF System Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the analog/RF and high-speed SerDes architecture for optical transceiver SoCs.

• Establish and uphold Analog Product Requirement Specifications (PRS).

• Drive the closure of system-level link budgets across the electrical-to-optical channel.

• Manage the Analog IP roadmap, ensuring alignment with technological capabilities.

• Collaborate with design teams to harmonize decisions regarding analog/RF architecture.

• Create Customer Requirement Documents (CRDs) for engagement with clients.

• Lead feasibility studies and conceptualization for SoCs.

• Monitor and integrate relevant interconnect standards into architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field with over 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with more than 8 years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated experience in managing high-speed SerDes and analog/mixed-signal system architectures.

• Strong background in system-level architecture.

• Proficient in electrical-optical link budget analysis.

• Practical experience in characterizing high-speed analog/RF designs.

• In-depth knowledge of high-speed interconnect standards.

• Capability to collaborate effectively across various domains with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Excellent technical communication skills.

• Familiarity with analog/mixed-signal design and architecture tools.

• Experience in silicon photonics or electro-optic interface design is considered advantageous.
