Senior Alternate Delivery Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Deliver engineering and consulting services for transportation projects and clients.

• Conduct and/or oversee field investigations, engineering analyses, calculations, and recommendations.

• Create and develop plans and specifications, along with observation and inspection duties.

• Evaluate drawings and construction to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.

• Prepare proposals and cost estimates while monitoring and assessing project progress and budgets.

• Investigate and resolve design and construction issues.

• Assign, assess, and review laboratory or field data for reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 8 to 11 years of relevant experience.

• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE).

• Experience in transportation with Department of Transportation (DOT) entities is essential.

• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory violation history.
