This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.
β’ Lead business development, project management, and technical initiatives for air quality projects focused on emissions quantification, carbon and climate change programs, environmental impact assessments, regulatory analysis, permitting, and compliance solutions.
β’ Ensure strong visibility in the marketplace by maintaining regular communication with clients, engaging in client-oriented professional organizations, and participating in industry events through attendance and presentations.
β’ Serve as the technical authority on air quality regulatory analyses in accordance with the Clean Air Act, as well as state and local regulations and emerging GHG regulations and reporting programs.
β’ Support industrial hygiene projects and tasks while upholding CIH certifications.
β’ Offer consulting services for air permitting, including NSR, PSD, Title V, GHG, EPCRA, and state-level pre-construction and operating permits, along with air quality impact assessments that feature dispersion modeling and health risk evaluations.
β’ Collaborate with the Environmental Resources and Planning Service Line on energy-related NEPA tasks and initiatives.
β’ Aid in the development and planning of new and modified facilities, while providing integrated consulting, environmental, design, and construction support for some of the largest projects in the United States.
β’ Oversee projects and staff, delivering technical leadership, risk management, and mentorship.
β’ Work in close partnership with colleagues in other offices.
β’ Assist in the recruitment and training of new staff members.
β’ Minimum of 8 years of experience in air quality program and project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
β’ Comprehensive understanding and experience with air quality regulations.
β’ Established regional presence through active involvement in professional associations or trade organizations.
β’ Exceptional writing and communication abilities.
β’ Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and refresher courses are preferred.
β’ Training in Health & Safety, medical monitoring, and client-specific drug and background testing may be necessary.
β’ Valid U.S. driverβs license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
