Senior AI Vertical Mini-Series Director – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Manage 1–2 series concurrently (10–15 episodes per series, approximately 1 minute per episode plus a trailer).

• Collaborate with our in-house AI copilot to ensure character consistency, facilitate casting, and create trailers.

• Direct, edit, and finalize each episode independently. You will write scripts and drive the storytelling and craftsmanship.

• We will provide training in AI content creation. A solid background in film editing will help you learn quickly.

• Work alongside our team of AI content creators, technical team, fellow Short Film Directors, and executive team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience directing or showrunning short-form narrative video.

• Strong instincts for scripting: developing hooks, cliffhangers, and escalating tension minute by minute.

• Familiarity with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance. We will help you become an expert in these tools quickly.

• Experience with platforms specializing in vertical drama.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (must be fluent in English).

• Goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and commitment.

• Action-oriented mindset - we are moving quickly and need individuals who can effectively balance execution, planning, and strategy.

• Passionate about speed, performance, and iteration.

• Humble and open to learning, with a willingness to accept feedback.
