Senior AI Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement automated workflows utilizing n8n and other low-code/no-code platforms to enhance operational efficiency across IT, HR, Legal, Finance, Customer Service, and various back-office functions.

• Create agentic AI solutions and AI-driven automations that extend beyond basic task transitions, integrating LLMs, decision-making logic, and intelligent routing.

• Oversee automation projects from start to finish: including scoping, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

• Integrate within OLX's tool ecosystem - including Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Slack, Google Workspace, SAP, Coupa, and others - through RESTful APIs and JSON to facilitate seamless workflows across systems.

• Write, test, and debug scripts in Python or JavaScript for sophisticated logic, data manipulation, and tailored API error handling.

• Maintain and support the n8n automation platform and its associated infrastructure.

• Conduct discovery sessions with business and back-office teams to pinpoint tasks and processes that can be optimized, expedited, or reimagined through AI.

• Lead workshops, hackathons, and training programs that enhance AI proficiency throughout the organization, making these tools accessible to non-technical staff.

• Execute proof-of-concepts and proof-of-value assessments on new AI tools and SaaS products, translating results into clear recommendations for adoption or investment.

• Develop and manage a repository of prompts, playbooks, and ready-to-deploy AI workflows that teams can readily utilize.

• Provide hands-on consulting to teams engaged in AI-related projects — from prototypes to production.

• Assess emerging AI capabilities and keep the organization informed about relevant advancements.

• Mentor junior engineers and advocate for best practices within the team.

• Collaborate with team leadership to define the roadmap and prioritize impactful initiatives.

• Foster continuous improvement by identifying trends across departments and sharing reusable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in automation engineering, AI enablement, or a combination of both.

• Experience collaborating across departments with individuals of varying technical and non-technical backgrounds.

• Solid hands-on experience with n8n or a similar low-code/no-code integration platform (such as Make, Zapier).

• Proven proficiency with RESTful APIs and JSON for integrating SaaS applications.

• Familiarity with foundational AI models and APIs (LLMs, generative AI) and practical experience incorporating them into business workflows.

• Experience with a diverse range of AI models and platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, Perplexity, etc.).

• Practical experience in prompt engineering: adept at obtaining reliable, high-quality outputs from AI models.

• Proficiency in writing, testing, and debugging scripts in Python or JavaScript.

• Proven track record of leading workshops, training sessions, or hackathons, with the ability to distill complex technology into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.

• High curiosity: remains informed about the fast-evolving AI landscape and quickly learns and evaluates new tools.

• Courageous and proactive: identifies opportunities before they arise, proposes innovative ideas, and drives them forward independently.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
