Senior AI Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Comprehend and enhance the architecture of the Ellavait CRM and BI product.

• Collaborate with Micado leadership to influence the technical roadmap.

• Convert product requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.

• Utilize AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Replit, or similar to expedite delivery.

• Actively participate in development when necessary, particularly in the initial phases.

• Critically evaluate AI-generated code before it is deployed to production.

• Safeguard the integrity of Ellavait’s multi-tenant architecture, ensuring tenant isolation, role-based access control, data security, auditability, and maintainability.

• Assist in defining coding standards, architecture decision records, delivery patterns, and AI development workflows.

• Facilitate sprint planning by decomposing larger initiatives into clearly defined technical work packages.

• Participate in the interview and evaluation process for potential AI developers and QA automation resources.

• Serve as a reliable technical counterpart to our internal leadership team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in senior full-stack software engineering.

• Proficient in relational database design and data modeling, including complex entity relationships, lookup relationships, junction objects, field types, referential integrity, indexing, and query performance.

• Strong grasp of CRM-style data models, encompassing accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, activities, tasks, notes, emails, custom objects, and related records.

• Capability to design metadata-driven data structures enabling customers to configure objects, fields, layouts, relationships, and workflows without custom coding.

• In-depth understanding of tenant-scoped data access and the potential risks of data leakage in a multi-tenant SaaS platform.

• Solid understanding of AI and LLM application architecture, extending beyond just AI-assisted coding.

• Experience or proficient knowledge of agentic workflows, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, embeddings, structured outputs, and AI guardrails.

• Ability to create AI features that can safely reason over CRM records, relationships, documents, emails, tasks, and business workflows.

• Competence in designing human-in-the-loop controls, audit logs, permission checks, and approval processes for AI-driven actions.

• Preferred technical experience includes:

• React and TypeScript.

• Python and FastAPI.

• PostgreSQL or other advanced relational databases.

• Advanced SQL skills, query optimization, indexing, joins, and database performance tuning.

• Relational database design expertise, including one-to-many, many-to-many, lookup relationships, junction objects, referential integrity, and schema migrations.

• Data modeling experience for CRM, ERP, workflow, BI, or metadata-driven applications.

• Familiarity with metadata-driven SaaS architecture where objects, fields, layouts, relationships, permissions, and workflows can be dynamically configured.

• Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS platforms, including tenant isolation, tenant-scoped queries, shared versus dedicated data models, and data leakage prevention.

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks.

• Expertise in role-based access control and permission-aware application design.

• Experience in API architecture and integration design.

• Proficiency in data pipelines and integration architecture.

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and background job processing.

• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and release governance.

• Knowledge of cloud deployment practices.

• Experience with vector databases or vector search technologies, such as pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, or similar.

• Familiarity with embedding models and semantic search.

• Understanding of LLM orchestration frameworks or patterns.

• Knowledge of AI agent frameworks, tool/function calling, and workflow automation.

• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation architecture.

• Expertise in secure AI application design, including tenant-aware retrieval, permission checks, auditability, human-in-the-loop controls, and prevention of cross-tenant data exposure.
