This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create and develop deep learning systems for search ranking, tailored recommendations, and session-based recommendation engines.

• Incorporate geographic factors into ranking systems to enhance pickup point suggestions.

• Convert business goals into machine learning objectives while considering essential non-functional requirements.

• Oversee model assessment using offline metrics and conduct online experiments.

• Collaborate with backend developers to implement production-ready ML models with low latency.

• Partner closely with product managers and operations teams to convert behavioral insights into product functionalities.

• Manage the complete production ML lifecycle, encompassing serving, monitoring, drift detection, and retraining pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in machine learning engineering.

• Proficient in search, NLP, ranking, recommendation, or relevance systems.

• Advanced knowledge of Python and its primary data science libraries, along with SQL (e.g., PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch).

• Capability to design a machine learning system from the ground up, including data analysis, annotation, processing, and production serving.

• Experience in translating business objectives into machine learning goals with relevant proxy metrics and non-functional requirements.

• Skilled in designing and assessing online experiments with statistical validation.

• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices.

• Background in deploying ML models to production with a focus on latency optimization.

• Understanding of concept drift detection and management.
