Senior AI Engineer/Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable solutions using AI tools and machine learning models.

• Perform research, testing, and analysis to develop machine learning algorithms and predictive models.

• Utilize big data processing and storage technologies to generate datasets, prototypes, and data-driven solutions.

• Conduct model training, evaluation, integration, testing, tuning, and ongoing performance monitoring.

• Lead and/or develop project requirements from inception to completion for both complex and highly complex programs, providing strategic guidance, technical leadership, and expert consultation to program and project teams.

• Exhibit continuous learning and adaptability within large-scale enterprise IT environments.

• Troubleshoot software applications and technical implementations across intricate enterprise ecosystems.

• Design, develop, and integrate APIs to meet both business and technical requirements.

• Query, manage, and analyze data utilizing both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree from an accredited college or university in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.

• Over 20 years of experience in IT-related roles.

• Proficiency in data acquisition, cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation using Python tools and techniques for creating robust analyses on large-scale datasets.

• Strong understanding of Core Python Concepts in practical applications.

• Expertise in Generative AI and prompt engineering.

• Skilled in utilizing multiple AI tools such as Python, Java, or R, along with machine learning frameworks like Spark, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.

• Experience in deploying Python applications in cloud service production environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), possibly leveraging containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Competent in creating technical diagrams using tools like Microsoft Visio or Draw.io.

• Skilled in developing business and technical presentations using Microsoft software products.

• Familiar with design patterns for developing scalable and maintainable applications and solutions.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with both technical and non-technical team members.

• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.

• Must be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.

• Must be a US citizen or hold permanent resident status (Green Card).

• Must have resided in the United States for the past 5 years.

• Cannot have traveled outside the United States for more than 6 months within the last five years.
