Senior Software Architect, C# / AI First

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance scalable, secure, and highly available SaaS applications utilizing C#, .NET, and cloud-native architectures.

• Establish technical architecture and engineering standards across various products and teams.

• Lead the implementation of microservices, domain-driven design (DDD), CQRS, event-driven systems, and API-first methodologies.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and fellow Architects to deliver dependable and maintainable solutions.

• Mentor senior engineers and offer technical guidance on architecture, design decisions, and implementation strategies.

• Drive enhancements in system performance, scalability, observability, and security.

• Advocate for engineering best practices, including code quality, automated testing, and operational excellence.

• Promote AI-assisted software development by incorporating modern AI tools and workflows into daily engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of software engineering experience, including more than 5 years in a Software Architect, Principal Engineer, or technical leadership role.

• Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and Angular (v16+).

• Extensive experience in designing enterprise SaaS platforms utilizing microservices, DDD, CQRS, and event-driven architectures.

• Practical experience with AWS (preferred) or Azure and cloud-native application design.

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (DocumentDB is a plus).

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence architectural decisions across teams.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Daily usage of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to enhance engineering productivity.

• Familiarity with contemporary AI concepts and workflows, including LLMs, RAG, MCP, and agentic development practices.
