This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Design, construct, and enhance agentic AI systems tailored for the CUDA ecosystem.
• Collaborate in the co-design of agentic system solutions alongside software, hardware, and algorithm teams.
• Influence the adoption of new capabilities as they emerge.
• Create reproducible, high-fidelity evaluation frameworks that assess performance, quality, and developer productivity.
• Work collaboratively across the AI stack—from hardware to compilers/toolchains, kernels/libraries, frameworks, distributed training, and inference/serving—and engage with model/agent teams.
• Innovate new agent abstractions, GPU-centric runtimes, and system solutions driven by compilers or runtime to enhance agent planning, tool usage, code generation, and other high-impact AI tasks.
• Partner closely with internal NVIDIA software and hardware teams to integrate the latest advancements into NVIDIA products.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A Master's or PhD is preferred.
• Over 3 years of experience in industry or academia focused on AI systems development.
• Familiarity with building foundational models, agents, or orchestration frameworks.
• Practical experience with deep learning frameworks and contemporary inference stacks.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python programming languages.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles.
• Experience in GPU programming and performance optimization (CUDA or similar).
• Extensive experience in developing and evaluating deep learning models, coding agents, and creating developer tools.
• Proven ability to optimize and deploy high-performance models, including on resource-constrained platforms.
• Demonstrated expertise in GPU performance optimizations, supported by benchmark successes or published results.
• Publications or open-source leadership in deep learning, multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, or AI systems; contributions to widely recognized repositories or standards.
