AI Engineer – AI Model Integration Build

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement a serverless AWS Lambda proxy layer supported by API Gateway.

• Provision infrastructure utilizing AWS CDK or CloudFormation.

• Enhance six video and image model integrations to accommodate 9:16 vertical aspect ratio parameters.

• Develop a direct ByteDance ModelArk REST API integration featuring bearer-token authentication.

• Encapsulate the ModelArk integration within a dedicated Lambda function and present it in the client UI using the current dropdown pattern.

• Introduce an Amazon Bedrock-based content moderation pre-check prior to FLUX and SeedDance calls.

• Validate the comprehensive flow from story ideation through storyboard image generation, 9:16 SeedDance video creation, and MP4 export in a Beta environment.

• Confirm and document technical assumptions, including the verification of the no-train/no-retain flag for the ModelArk API.

• Collaborate with the client's existing Firebase/GCP frontend without migrating its backend or disrupting its release schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical production experience with AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, and IAM/networking.

• Proficient in provisioning environments using AWS CDK or CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock Guardrails or LLM-based classification for content moderation, or a quick learning ability.

• Demonstrated experience in integrating third-party/vendor REST APIs using bearer-token authentication.

• Comfortable collaborating with an existing React/Firebase frontend without being responsible for frontend design or development.

• Capable of working independently within a brief, fixed-scope engagement of 15–20 business days / 20–25 calendar days.

• Able to articulate technical trade-offs directly with the client.

• Proficient in English for direct client communication and technical validation meetings.
