This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, deploy, and sustain large-scale artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.
• Spearhead predictive modeling, natural language processing applications, generative AI solutions, and advanced analytics platforms.
• Create and execute machine learning algorithms and model architectures to address real-world business challenges.
• Construct and enhance data pipelines, feature engineering processes, and model training environments.
• Assess emerging AI technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve mission performance.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with security, privacy, compliance, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with software developers, cybersecurity experts, data engineers, data scientists, stakeholders, and government leaders.
• Assist in cloud-based AI deployments and operationalization of models.
• Execute model validation, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Offer technical guidance, mentorship, and thought leadership on AI strategies and capabilities.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and executive briefings.
• Engage in program reviews, stakeholder meetings, and technical working groups.
• Support program-related meetings and events as necessary.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in information technology security, data science, software engineering, or related technical fields.
• At least 5 years’ experience in designing, developing, or deploying artificial intelligence or machine learning systems in enterprise or government settings.
• Proven experience in delivering AI-enabled solutions for large organizations or federal agencies comparable in size and complexity to the VA, DoD, IRS, or GSA.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing AI and machine learning solutions within production environments.
• Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, Business Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Information Security, Information Resource Management, or a related discipline.
• Must hold one or more of the following: IAT Level III, IAM Level III, or IASAE Level III.
• Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence projects.
• Experience in building, training, testing, and deploying machine learning models in production settings.
• Strong understanding of data preparation, quality, cleansing, transformation, and feature engineering techniques.
• Knowledge of responsible AI principles, model governance, security considerations, and ethical AI practices.
• Experience working with federal government organizations or large enterprise environments.
• Practical experience with AI frameworks, machine learning libraries, and cloud-based AI services.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be able to successfully complete and maintain a Tier 4 / High Risk Background Investigation.
• Availability during core business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time is required.
• Approximately two trips per year for program-related meetings and events.
