Senior AI Engineer, GraphRAG, Neo4J

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable data pipelines, backend services, and APIs.

• Develop knowledge graph solutions, which include graph data modeling, relationship mapping, and graph traversal logic.

• Construct ETL pipelines.

• Design data models.

• Implement GraphRAG solutions that integrate knowledge graphs, vector search, metadata, and LLM-based retrieval.

• Generate Source to Target Mappings (STMs) for ETL specifications.

• Establish automated ingestion patterns, incremental (delta) updates, and streaming/CDC workflows.

• Collect requirements, set objectives, define interface specifications, and conduct design sessions.

• Collaborate closely with data consumers to ensure seamless integration.

• Adapt and learn within a fast-paced project environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong SQL expertise for ETL processes, data modeling, and performance enhancement.

• Experience with Neo4j, Cosmos DB, or Gremlin API.

• Proficiency in Python, particularly for managing and simplifying complex JSON structures.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, ADF, or equivalent cloud data stacks.

• Familiarity with GraphRAG, retrieval systems, LLMs, embeddings, and RAG pipelines.

• Understanding of software engineering and testing methodologies within an Agile framework.

• Experience with Data as Code; including version control, frequent and small commits, unit testing, CI/CD, packaging, and familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker (required) and Kubernetes (preferred).

• Exceptional teamwork and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to create efficient, high-performance data pipelines for both real-time and batch data processing.

• Nice to have: Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms.

• Familiarity with vector databases, Azure AI Search, or semantic search platforms.
