Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions aimed at automating legal processes.

• Design and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) for the analysis, interpretation, and creation of legal documents.

• Develop solutions for extracting, classifying, and consolidating data from contracts, pleadings, legal opinions, and other legal documents.

• Create automated Due Diligence applications for risk assessment, compliance, and identifying document discrepancies.

• Establish intelligent systems to enhance litigation management, case analysis, and the monitoring of legal responsibilities.

• Implement RAG architectures for querying repositories of legal documents.

• Work alongside Legal, Compliance, Governance, and Technology teams to uncover automation and innovation opportunities.

• Ensure that solutions are secure, traceable, private, and compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies.

• Oversee the performance, accuracy, and evolution of AI models within production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Computational Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computing, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience in Python and AI solution development.

• Advanced understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Familiarity with LLMs, including GPT, Claude, Llama, Mistral, Gemini, or similar technologies.

• Proficiency in LangChain.

• Proficiency in LangGraph.

• Proficiency in LlamaIndex.

• Proficiency in Semantic Kernel.

• Experience with RAG architecture, vectorization, and semantic search.

• Understanding of Pinecone.

• Understanding of Weaviate.

• Understanding of ChromaDB.

• Familiarity with Azure AI Search.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with AWS.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.

• Knowledge of MLOps, monitoring, and governance of AI models.

• Preferred: experience in delivering projects for legal departments, compliance, audit, or risk management teams.

• Preferred: understanding of contract analysis automation and legal document review.

• Preferred: experience in the banking, financial services, insurance, or large corporate sectors with high volumes of proceedings and contracts.

• Preferred: Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, or equivalent certifications.

• Preferred: postgraduate degree or specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Big Data Analytics, AI Engineering, or Cloud Solutions Architecture.
