Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluates and specifies software and product requirements, setting the guidelines and standards that support scalable, high-quality development.

• Performs coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the entire development lifecycle, utilizing AI-assisted and agentic development methodologies to ensure quality and efficiency in delivery.

• Enhances software and product functionalities that align with design systems, infrastructure, databases, and cloud-based platforms, aiming to optimize operational efficiency.

• Analyzes application requirements and designs database solutions that guarantee scalability, performance, and data integrity.

• Acts as a subject matter expert in AI-assisted development methodologies; provides guidance to the engineering team on the proficient and disciplined application of AI coding tools, influences development standards regarding AI usage, and upholds quality expectations through code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience is mandatory.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in Agentic Engineering is necessary.

• Familiarity with Claude Code, Curser, or similar LLM is required.

• Proficient in Python for over 5 years is essential.

• Experience with Git/GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, and CircleCI is required.

• Background in Agile, SCRUM, or comparable iterative methodologies is necessary.

• Experience in rapidly growing companies or entrepreneurial settings is required.

• Over 9 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Proven understanding of component-based frontend architecture and modern frontend development principles, enabling scalable and modular front-end development.

• Proficiency in frontend build tools and development pipeline practices.

• Advanced knowledge of software testing methodologies, ensuring robust and reliable test coverage.

• Expert-level understanding of AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding workflows, with the capability to apply engineering judgment to evaluate, refine, and incorporate AI-generated code into production software delivery.

• Technical expertise to convert detailed business requirements into actionable technical specifications and identify the most effective implementation strategies using a diverse range of tools and technologies.

• Awareness of current software engineering practices and emerging development methodologies in the industry.

• Ability to serve as a technical advisor for the engineering team on AI-assisted development practices, promote effective AI tool usage among peers, and maintain quality standards for AI-generated code.

• Capability to influence and contribute to architectural design decisions.

• Willingness to travel less than 5% of the time.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must successfully complete the pre-employment screening process, as required.
